DUTIES
Post bank transactions and prepare daily deposits.
Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database
Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department

EXPERIEINCE
Proven accounting experience
Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software

Cash Management Assistant

A global investment firm is looking for a Cash Management Associate to work with the department supervisor to coordinate cash flow, assist with required security regulations, cash management, and in-house banking procedures and policies.

DUTIES
Work with the Depository Clearing and Fedwire clearing areas at our Custodian to insure transactions are processed correctly and within the time frame for each depository.
Perform quality assurance on remaining open delivery versus payment fails to make sure our company has done all it can to settle items.
Determine why trades have not settled and to take action as needed to insure trades settle.
Assist in resolving trade problems, such as delivery instruction issues and DK delivery problems.
Coordinate between our staff and our Custodian.
Request custodian borrow stock and corporate bonds as needed to cover short positions to complete DTC delivery trades pending settlement.
Send wires as requested. Coordinate fund transfers and maintain minimum balances.
Pull daily information to compile projected cash needs.
Manage cash and transfer funds accordingly to fund activity for firm End-of-Day.
Compile and convey daily spreadsheets to accounting groups.
Cross train and provide backup for others in the operations department, as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Math, or other business related field
One year related experience and/or training including banking and experience with balancing accounts; or equivalent of education and experience.

Legal Administrative Assistant

Global investment firm located in Little Rock, Arkansas, is looking for an experienced, professional, highly motivated individual to assist their General Counsel with contractual agreements, acquisitions, and filing relevant reports with the Secretary of State.

DUTIES:
Manage, maintain, and organize files of all documents involved in acquisitions of, investments in, and sales of private companies with emphasis on creating and maintaining electronic / paperless files.
Prepare and revise, in both Word and pdf formats, documents using existing forms or drafts, including online data bases.
Make filings with Arkansas Secretary of State to create new legal entities (corporations, limited liability companies, etc.), and work with third party services (CT Corporation) to make filings in other states. Obtain EIN’s from Internal Revenue Service.
Maintain and update small legal library (10-15 services).
Assist supervisor in routine administrative duties, such as maintaining Microsoft Outlook, open and sort incoming mail, answer phones, schedule conference calls.
Coordinate sharing of administrative duties with the other administrative assistants of Stephens Capital Partners to support group as a whole.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Finance) from an accredited college or university
At least three years' experience as an executive assistant or legal assistant
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to type at least 50 wpm
